Over the week, and last week, I took off the trim, all of which is still in good condition except one which cracked. The blazer looks much better now, and I can't wait to remove the rest. Check it out:

Bad Heator Core

Our heater core is going bad. Stinks, it's a huge job to fix because it's hidden away in the dash who knows where. It's causing anti-freeze to puff out of the A/C vents which is not very good for our heath. I got my Chevy emblem painted red the other day because it cleared up. It turned out hot, but I sort of ruined other parts of the grill doing so. Got some red overspray, so I sprayed black over the gloss to fix it, and it doesn't look so hot anymore. Gotta fix it, you know, this weekend I'll sand it all down and repaint it. I'm not going to bother posting about it though.

Well I'm pretty much done except for the red bowtie. I put it on, unmasked it, and it looks awesome. Oh yeah, I also painted the mesh grill black (didn't mean to!) and it looks good except for the two places there was tape, and it's chrome. Haha I'll have to fix that when I do the bowtie.

Painting Grill Black - Day 3

Day four here, but I'm posting about day three since I didn't have time last night. Kind of busy ... anyway, it's raining so I can't finish up, but it's just about done. Made great progress, gave the grill two coats of black and it looks awesome! It doesn't match the rest of the car exactly, but that's nothing I can help.

First I had to sand some ares that had smudges and runs. I used 1000 grit sandpaper...
